The options for the Connections Program depend on where the traveller resides, and whether they need to connect at a motorcoach pickup point, at an airport, or at the starting hotel.
1) For Guests Within Taxi Service Range
If the guest resides within our door-to-door taxi service range, we’ll arrange service from their home to the trip designated pickup point or chosen airport. The fee for this service will depend on the distance involved.
2) For Guests Residing Outside Our Taxi Service Range and for Tours with Flights
For the convenience of guests living in communities outside the door-to-door taxi service range and out-of-province guests, a night of accommodation, pre-departure, is arranged at our partner hotels near the designated pickup points. For tours with flights, this option provides an included pre-departure hotel night near the airport. Parking is subject to availability and may have an additional charge.
It should be noted that for DeLuxe Hiking tours, there will be limited pickup points offered, so this is the most likely option: guests would drive to the partner hotel the day before departure and enjoy a night of accommodation, being refreshed and ready to be picked up by the motorcoach the next day.
3) Credit
For guests who want to make their own arrangements to get to the motorcoach pickup point or guests wanting the “land only package” to join the hiking tour at the destination starting point, a credit will be provided. The amount of the credit will depend on the specific itinerary.
